FAQ Section

Display frequently asked questions in an expandable accordion format.

Adding the Section

  1. Open the theme editor
  2. Click Add section
  3. Select FAQ

Layout Options

Desktop Columns

Choose how many columns on desktop:

  • 1 column - Full width questions
  • 2 columns - Questions side by side
  • 3 columns - Compact grid layout

All layouts collapse to single column on mobile.

Header Content

Add optional header content above the FAQ:

Subheading

Introductory text like "Support" or "Help Center"

Heading

Main title, e.g., "Frequently Asked Questions"

Text

Brief intro paragraph if needed.

Adding FAQ Items

Creating Questions

  1. Click Add block
  2. Select FAQ item
  3. Enter the question
  4. Enter the answer

Question Field

Write the question as customers would ask it:

  • "How long does shipping take?"
  • "What is your return policy?"
  • "Do you offer gift wrapping?"

Answer Field

Provide the complete answer:

  • Supports rich text formatting
  • Include links where helpful
  • Keep answers concise but complete

How the Accordion Works

  1. Questions display with expand/collapse indicator
  2. Click a question to expand the answer
  3. Click again to collapse
  4. Multiple questions can be open simultaneously

Organization Tips

Group Related Questions

If using multiple columns, organize logically:

  • Column 1: Shipping questions
  • Column 2: Return questions
  • Column 3: Product questions

Order by Importance

Place most common questions first:

  1. Most frequently asked
